WHAT IS needed is a co-ordinated business response to the Green Paper on e-commerce released on November 20 last year, according to finance consultants, KPMG.
Comment on the Green Paper is called for by March 31, said Devon Duffield, director e-business risk management & assurance, with a view to the publication of the White Paper in the second quarter, and legislation in the third/fourth quarter.
KPMG ran an information session for clients on Tuesday, to be followed this month by a number of focused workshops.
The objective of these, according to Duffield, is to collate the business response to the Green Paper - and to present a combined front to the Department of Communication.
