EFFECTIVE YESTERDAY (February 1) the 10 days free storage time at Spoornet's City Deep depot has reverted to the previous 3-days (72-hours).
Railways introduced the extended period last September, while it revised its storage
system.
The decision, said business manager Christelle Rentsch, was an interim measure while we reviewed the whole situation - and January 1 was our target date for deciding on a new, acceptable and permanent arrangement.
