BILL VIVEIROS has been appointed senior general manager at Grindrod International Freight with immediate effect.
Previously liaison manager at Danzas Intercontinental in Johannesburg, he was instrumental in the initial development of the alliance between Grindrod International Freight and Danzas during 1996.
Viveiros will be responsible for sales, marketing and international forwarding and will concentrate on developing the Grindrod/Danzas alliance.
A well-known figure in the industry, he has over 40 years experience in international freight forwarding and customs clearing. He held senior management posts with LEP and Renfreight before joining Danzas Intercontinental in August last year.
