Transporters using the western-most border between South Africa and Namibia are advised that the Noordoewer crossing has been closed due to a case of Covid-19.
Mike Fitzmaurice of the Federation of East and Southern African Road Transport Associations (Fesarta) says decontamination will take place and it is speculated that the border will reopen at 7pm (this evening).
