New acquisition for Shipping & General

BUSINESS GROWTH demands equipment upgrades and that’s the reason for the acquisition by Shipping & General of this 14ton forklift. It joins the existing fleet of three at the company’s Germiston premises, acquired in the interests of improved customer service, says managing director Regan Moodley.
Shipping & General provides what Moodley describes as a one-call service for the shipping industry, incorporating collections, tracking, FCL and LCL transport, customs examination, unpacking and full-scale distribution, all on a national level.
The company has carved a specialist niche in the export packing field, developing a reputation in the highly sensitive cargo field.
