Maersk heir to take over as AP Moller CEO

Robert Maersk Uggla, grandson of Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller, has been appointed as the CEO of AP Moller Holding, taking over from Martin Gottlob on September 1.

His mother, Ane Maersk Mc-Kinney Uggla, is chair of the foundation and the holding group. Both are on the board of AP Moller Maersk.

Uggla is presently CEO of Maersk-owned tugboat operator Svitzer.
