‘Agents have a role in attracting investors’

Clearing and forwarding agents
have a role to play in bringing
investment from the rest of
Africa into Zambia, says Perry
Siatulye, managing director of
Ndola-based Halifax Freight
Services.
“Zambia presents very good
investment opportunities,”
says Siatulye.
“We are a peaceful country
governed by laws which ensure
the safety of investments. We
also have the logistics systems
in place,” he says.
Halifax has assisted
investors from Nigeria and
Egypt to establish operations
in Ndola, and he expects more
to follow.
