the most successful black start-up freight business.
From its first year the company was a
success, turning in a profit of over R700 000. It continues to grow faster than anyone anticipated and has made R17,5m pretax profit against a budget of R9,6m.
The company is black controlled with Bidvest having a significant stake.
SebenzaÕs Soto Ndukwana said that the company had reached 82% affirmative action compliance and that there was no need for further affirmative programmes.
At an awards ceremony last week recognising the faith shown by its first clients which included Abbot Laboratories, Telkom and Transnet, the minister of Public Works, Jeff Radebe (right) was on hand to officiate and congratulate m.d. Mark Goodger and his team.
