Description:
My logistics client is seeking a suitable Accountant to join their growing team.
Duties will include - Manage the full accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations; Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; Ensure compliance with SARS (South African Revenue Service) requirements including VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, and other statutory returns; Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis etc.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; Professional certification (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA) is preferrable; Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience; Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax legislation.
