Uganda's national carrier has announced plans to launch a direct flight to Johannesburg during the first quarter of this year.
The airline currently serves nine destinations across East Africa.
A Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft will be deployed on the southern Africa route , featuring a dual class cabin layout and cargo capacity of 2 756 kg. The airline said that direct flights to London, Dubai, Guangzhou and Mumbai would be launched this year. – Zoë van Rooyen
