There’s a new name on the SA
logistics scene.
March 1 saw a change of
name for BALtrans Clover
Cargo which has become Toll
Global Forwarding following
the Toll Group’s takeover
of The BALtrans Logistics
Group.
While the name is new, key
personnel and partners remain
the same. Under the continued
leadership of Vincent
Magnus and its other local
shareholders, Geoff Partridge
and Brian Wicht, the company
will continue building on two
decades of service to South
African clients. Moreover,
many companies in the
worldwide network have been
partners since the inception of
Clover Cargo 20 years ago.
“We are enthusiastic about
the changes because they will
ensure that clients’ future needs
are catered for,” says Vincent
Magnus, chief executive of
Toll Global Forwarding SA.
“Clients can look forward
to a more comprehensive
portfolio of logistics products
and supply-chain solutions to
address their requirements.
“With new markets
developing, demand is growing
for a wider, comprehensive
international network with IT
capabilities fully supported
by local skills, knowledge,
expertise and coverage,”
said Magnus.
“The Toll Global Forwarding
business model strengthens our
ability to deliver customised
supply-chain solutions
anywhere in the world.”
Magnus believes that
Toll Global Forwarding
has the comprehensive
global footprint, business
and financial resources and
economies of scale to help
them stay ahead of the game.
