South African Airways (SAA) has announced that its new CEO, Vuyani Jarana, will officially start on November 1.
SAA spokesperson Tlali Tlali said that the appointment of Jarana would bring stability to the state-owned entity and would ensure the effective implementation of its recently finalised five-year corporate plan to return the airline to commercial sustainability.
Jarana has been appointed on a five-year contract.
“The decision follows the conclusion of negotiations with his current employer on his release date,” said Tlali.
