The Transport Forum will have another academic collaboration with the University of Johannesburg (UJ) when it hosts its next gathering there on April 17.
The Forum will look at ‘Risk Management and Safety in Transport’.
The following event highlights are on offer:
- Keynote presentations from industry experts on the economic impact of road safety, incident trends, predictive technologies, and compliance strategies.
- Insightful discussions on enforcement, human-centred safety approaches, and challenges in the trucking sector.
- A panel discussion addressing pressing concerns in transport safety.
- Engaging networking opportunities with professionals across the transport sector.
Key speakers for the event are Carole Mtizi, transport economist at Zutari; Gavin Kelly, CEO of the Road Freight Association; Jannie Jordaan, product manager at Ctrack; Refilwe Mongale, executive manager of Road Safety and Stakeholder Relations Management at the RTMC; Antoinette van Graan, software business analyst at INControl; Adri Dörnbrach, founder of the Wink Movement; Nicci Scott Anderson, CEO of the SaferStops Association; and Eugene Herbert, CEO of Masterdrive.
The Transport Forum on April 17 will be held at UJ’s School of Tourism and Hospitality, Bunting Road Campus, Kerzner Building, 57 Bunting Road, Cottesloe.
