Lykes offers real time web schedules

LYKES LINES has introduced real time sailing schedules on the website, updating them constantly throughout the day.
"The sailing schedules on the website are generated from the same data that our operations department uses to track our ships, so they are very accurate," says Tony Bruno, vice president commercial.
"Although we try to avoid schedule changes, sometimes they are inevitable due to severe weather or port congestion, for instance," he said.
The Lykes Lines website at www.lykeslines.com enables customers to print bills of lading on-line and track their containers, as well as check the customs clearance status of U.S. inbound cargo.
