French shipping line, CMA CGM, will strengthen its service between Asia and West Africa by deploying its 9 400-TEU-capacity vessels on the route.13 vessels, including 10 CMA CGM vessels, will operate the service in partnership with Maersk.
The service will offer:
- A larger port coverage with three new calls: Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia) and Ngqura (South Africa).
- Transit times from Cape Town (South Africa) improved by two days from Central China, and three days from Southern China and South East Asia.
The 91-day rotation started on March 15: Tianjin / Xingang, Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Chiwan, Nansha, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Kelang, Coega, Cape Town, Pointe Noire, Luanda, Cape Town E/B, Ngqura E/B, Port Kelang E/B, Tanjung Pelepas E/B, Singapore E/B, Tianjin / Xingang
