An eclectic gathering of decision-makers from the logistics and supply chain industry attended one of the most popular events on the sector’s social calendar – the ‘Thirsty’s’ gathering hosted by Freight News in Woodmead last Thursday evening.
Freight forwarders, transporters, consolidators, liner-trade operators, fleet management representatives, cargo-clearing experts and the team from Freight News, all shared in an evening of lively industry conversation.
Known for its ‘no-speeches networking-only’ approach, Thirsty’s has become somewhat of an institution at Freight News, carried over from the days when the publication was still known as Freight & Trading Weekly.
The next Thirsty’s gathering will be held in Cape Town.
Be sure to watch this space for details of one of the most enjoyable networking get-togethers in the supply chain and logistics industry.
