In a bid to attract investment in South Africa’s Special Economic Zones (SEZs), the Department of Trade and Industry (dti) will embark on a roadshow in Shanghai, China, from 26 to 31 May.
Government representatives – led by dti deputy minister Bulelani Magwanishe – will outline the opportunities and incentives offered at the country’s eight designated SEZs.
The South African delegation will also conduct a benchmarking exercise for South African SEZs by visiting various thriving SEZs in Shanghai for knowledge-sharing.
