Windhoek-based Transworld
Cargo completed several core
infrastructure projects last year,
including additional warehouse
facilities in Walvis Bay and in
Windhoek, business development
manager Frank Gschwender told
FTW.
“More and more local
companies follow an international
trend to outsource their logistics
in order to focus on core business
operations and processes,” he said
“In mid 2012, Transworld
added a 900-sqm warehouse to its
14 000-sqm facility in Walvis
Bay. At the end of 2012 we
also opened a brand new 5800-
sqm warehousing facility at
our premises in the Southern
Industrial Area in Windhoek.
Supported by state-of-the-art
warehousing technologies,
these premises are integrated
warehousing and distribution
solutions,” he said.
