The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) has warned transporters making their way to the Oshoek port of entry between South Africa and Eswatini to take precautions following an announcement of a planned march to the eSwatini border due to take place today.
A flyer from the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has been circulated on social media, stating that the march is planned to show solidarity with the people of eSwatini.
“We will continue to engage with all relevant stakeholders to get as much information as possible on these and other challenges in order to provide you with helpful information and to assist in their resolution. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to our transporters by the closures,” according to a statement from the C-BRTA.
Freight News will update this story as it develops.
