Logistics professionals and fleet owners still have time to participate in the annual Road Safety Survey which is now in its third successive year of data gathering for the transport sector.
Launched by Webfleet, Bridgestone’s mobility solutions company, the survey serves to provide authoritative research that will help business and government to confront the challenges facing the industry in South Africa.
The survey consists of a range of scientifically determined questions that, although it takes a bit of time to complete, is regarded as a premier platform for gaining valuable insights and feedback from fleet professionals.
The survey is designed to collect data on the state of South African roads and to inform best practices to confront existing and emerging challenges. The findings of the survey will be highlighted in a special report, the 2024 Webfleet Road Safety Report, that will be released later this year.
Webfleet South Africa Sales Director, Justin Manson, said fleet professionals play a vital role in ensuring the safety of drivers, vehicles and communities on the roads.
“Your experiences and perspectives are invaluable in shaping the future of road safety,” Manson said.
“By participating in this survey, you can make a real impact and help drive positive change within the industry,” he said.
Participating in the survey is quick and easy. Responses will be treated in strict confidentiality and the data collected will be aggregated and anonymised for analysis.
As a token of appreciation for completing the survey, all respondents will be automatically entered into a lucky-prize draw to win R5000 to donate to a road accident charity of your choice.
“We encourage all fleet professionals to take a few minutes to complete the survey. Every response is valuable. Together, we can make significant strides towards fostering a better road safety culture in South Africa,” Manson said.
