A second container terminal at the Kenyan port of Mombasa is to be commissioned by President Uhuru Kenyatta, report online sources.
The container terminal will be completed in three phases and is to be funded by the Kenyan and Japanese governments, according to the Daily Nation Kenya newspaper.
Phase one of the new terminal will consist of two berths with a quay length of 210 metres and a draught of 12 metres to serve medium size vessels.
