Compu-Clearing has added a new string to its bow – a learning centre in Braamfontein. Conceptualised by Professor Ari Katz, chief executive of the Boston City Group and a non-executive director of Compu-Clearing, it’s a fully-fledged Compu-Clearing office where learners will have the opportunity to develop computer skills. It has been set up in conjunction with the Information Systems Electronics and Telecommunication Technologies Seta and Boston Technology Campus. “Most of the learners are previously disadvantaged individuals, which not only satisfies our empowerment credentials but allows us to do what we believe in,” says Garber.
