SAFBANK LINE'S express Container Service will, with immediate effect, upgrade its fortnightly calls at Port Elizabeth on northbound (export) voyages to weekly.
This will bring Port Elizabeth in line with Durban and Cape Town which are already served on a weekly basis by the line's service between Southern Africa and North America.
We introduced a fortnightly direct call at Port Elizabeth just over a year ago, SafBank Line c.e.o. Mike Veary told FTW.
Support by our customers has been so good that we feel justified in increasing the calls to weekly, thereby further stimulating trade between Southern Africa and North America, he said.
