ROHLIG PERISHABLE Cargo Agents, which is firmly perched at the top of the perishable export agents league in terms of volumes, is on an upgrade trail in Durban and Cape Town after last year's total upgrade of its Johannesburg facility.
The company moved into its new Durban premises at the beginning of August. Situated adjacent to SAA at Durban International Airport, it comprises coolrooms and offices both with easy access to the airport and apron.
In Cape Town July 1 saw the start of building operations for its 2850 square metre storage area. November is the expected completion date, which will fit in well with the December peak.
Last year Rohlig fully upgraded its Johannesburg airport facility with the installation of new refrigeration equipment and the creation of a security area on the apron.
