Qatar Airways will launch a twice-weekly freighter service to Johannesburg on April 2, the airline announced last week.
It’s part of an expansion programme that will see the introduction of five new passenger routes, more cargo services and capacity increases to a number of destinations served direct from the airline’s Doha hub.
The carrier currently operates a fleet of six freighters to 33 destinations worldwide.
This year will see Qatar Airways taking delivery of one new aircraft every 15 days.
