A year since the opening of
a new branch office in the
port city, a hartrodt Durban
is gearing up for further growth.
‘It’s been a year full of
challenges,” says branch manager
Marco Zachow.
“The worldwide economic
downturn severely affected not
just our business, but business in
general. Along with that we faced
the challenges that come with
opening a new branch office.”
This did not stop the new office
from finding its feet quickly, says
Zachow, and it’s now all about
continuing to grow its client base.
“There are major opportunities
for Durban and of course Richards
Bay. We believe the future outlook
is extremely positive with much
development expected in the area
after the World Cup, which will
mean growth for companies
like ours.”
Zachow believes that the new
King Shaka airport – which means
more direct international flights –
will add impetus to any growing
business.
“The only real challenge that we
are facing at present is the
ongoing port delays – something
we hope will be permanently
improved on into the future.”
