Finland’s national carrier, Finnair, intends to build a new cargo terminal at Helsinki Airport.
This is due to open in 2017 when the old cargo terminal be sold to the airport operator Finavia.
London’s Aircargonews reports that the airline’s strategic objective is to double its Asian traffic by 2020 from the level of 2010.
This plan involves increasing its cargo capacity with an order for 19 new Airbus A350 XWB aircraft.
