NAC2000 has entered into a joint venture with National Aviation Services (NAS) of Kuwait to manage the VIP and commercial important persons lounge in the new terminal at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka.“We are excited to work with the Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) and proud to partner with NAS, global experts in the airport lounge sector, to deliver a world-class facility at KKIA,” says Jonathan Lewis, managing director of NAC2000.NAC2000 is one of the largest ground services companies in Zambia, while NAS is described as the fastest-growing aviation services provider in emerging markets.The five-year tender includes building a 588-square-metre exclusive departure lounge that will cater for VIP and commercially important passengers travelling out of the airport.“For us it fills a long-felt need for a departure lounge that caters for private and charter f lights that we handle,” says Lewis.
