Logistics heavyweight will address April conference

JOHN GATTORNA, author of The Gower Handbook of Logistics and Distribution Management, will be the keynote speaker at South Africa's first Logistics Safari Series of conferences during April.
He is to be joined at venues in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Mpumalanga by members of the Council of Logistics Management (CLM) from the US and UK.
CLM executive Richard Proctor-Sims says the intention is to exchange ideas and stimulate the practice of supply chain management and logistics across a broader base of local industry.
In addition to the conferences, visits are scheduled to industrial and agricultural enterprises for logistics case studies and discussions.
