ISO conference scheduled for March

THE FIFTH annual ISO9000 conference is to be held at the Holiday Inn, Johannesburg International Airport from March 17-19, to be hosted by the Institute for International Research.
More and more South African companies are now exposed to international markets, but many are still taking the route of merely being equally quality conscious in their endeavours, says the Institute's Allyson Towle.
Quality is crucial to the survival of one's organisation in an increasingly competitive market, she says, and quality standards are being improved rapidly in this country by companies being involved in matters such as ISO targets.
