Menzies Aviation has opened a new cargo warehouse at Maputo International Airport (MPM), Mozambique, further expanding its presence in East Africa.
The facility, which boasts modern equipment and advanced technology, is designed to enhance the efficiency and security of air cargo services.
According to an official statement from the company, the new warehouse will support airlines, including launch partners Airlink and Qatar Airways.
The senior vice president for cargo in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia (MEAA) at Menzies Aviation, Al Anood Al Suwaidi, highlighted the significance of the development.
"We are delighted to inaugurate our new cargo warehouse in Mozambique.
“This state-of-the-art facility will enable us to provide top-tier services to our airline customers while strengthening the air cargo sector in East Africa."
The new facility marks another milestone in Menzies Aviation’s global cargo expansion strategy, which aims to increase its operational footprint worldwide.
