The World Citrus Organisation (WCO) has doubled its membership with the United States, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Egypt, Greece and Portugal joining South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Italy, Morocco, Peru and Spain.
Launched in October this year, its aim is to help member countries to better face common challenges and seize opportunities for the collective benefit of the citrus sector. The WCO acts as the global platform for dialogue and action between the citrus-producing countries worldwide.

The WCO was initiated by the Spanish Lemon and Grapefruit Interbranch Association AILIMPO, and the Citrus Growers’ Association of Southern Africa (CGA).
