Logistics and infrastructure developer Black Ivy Group has been commissioned to help develop ‘WestPark’ – the first industrial and commercial zone in Takoradi, Ghana.
Ghana minister of trade and industry, Alan Kyeremanteng, noted that Black Ivy Group would be responsible for attracting large multinational companies into the zone to produce goods for the domestic and international market and when completed would enable Takoradi port to facilitate raw material imports and finished goods exports.
WestPark is situated within the Yabiw Freezone Enclave where 406 acres of land has been acquired, 25 kilometres from the Port of Takoradi, which will be linked by rail.
