On 17 May 2023, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced the imposition of anti-dumping duties in Part 1 of Schedule No.2 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964 on frozen potato chips, classifiable in tariff subheadings 2004.10.21 and 2004.10.29, originating in or imported from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.
