The captain of a Dutch-flagged cargo ship has been found to be drunk in charge of his ship.
According to the gCaptain blog, the 90-metre-long MV Abis Bergen ran aground as it was leaving the German port of Rostock, and blocked access to the harbour until it was eventually refloated with the help of tugs.
Local reports said the vessel had sustained some damage, and that a breathalyser test had revealed the captain had a blood alcohol content of 0.148%.
