Terry Gale, chairman of the Exporters’ Club Western Cape (ECWC), and Janine Gray, director of Networking Matters, attended the ECWC August event where women in freight and trade were celebrated.
Speaking at a breakfast hosted by the club at Hotel Verde in Cape Town, Gray said women were increasingly making their mark in the logistics industry which is often regarded as male dominated. “Embrace your femininity and your character. See being a woman as a strength and use it to your advantage,” she said.
