The latest acquisition for Cape
Crating is a crane truck, an MAN
26-280 rig fitted with a 29-ton
capacity Pilfinger crane.
“This will be added to our existing
fleet of vehicles and our range of
services,” partner Owen Bottomley told
FTW, “which includes crating, packing,
warehousing, container loading,
palletising and local deliveries in the
Cape Town area.”
Cape Crating also has a hazardous
cargo division; secures cargo on flat rack
containers; and offers an international
service in project packing.
The company will use the crane truck
for its own services as well as hiring it
out to other users.
