It is essential to provide the
optimum solution system
package to members of
the warehousing industry,
according to Moshe
Zulberg, marketing and
training manager of
Compu-Clearing.
“It’s a simple equation,”
he told FTW. “Provide too
much, and a client’s need
to provide a cost-efficient
service is blown. Provide
too little, and a client’s
solution needs are not
fulfilled.”
To ensure that a correct
match is found, Compu-
Clearing – the provider of
the whole range of customs
system needs to the product
supplier industry – has
designed an assessment
programme for clients.
“For warehousemen, we
analyse their entire business
structure, and assess what
their exact needs are,” said
Zulberg.
And, to meet these needs,
Compu-Clearing has two
different solutions systems.
The first is for small
businesses which have very
basic needs. “To match
this, we provide a system
which is extremely userfriendly,
simple and easy
to operate, but which also
has all the solutions that the
business requires,” Zulberg
said. “For the larger and
more complex warehousing
operation, we have a new
system which provides a full
warehousing solution for the
entire section of the supply
chain that such a business
manages.”
This comprehensive
system package covers every
need, he added. From radiofrequency
identification
(RFID) – the use of a
non-contact radio system
to transfer data from a tag
attached to an object, for
the purposes of automatic
identification and tracking –
to the simple bar-coding on
each package, to a complete
management control system
handling everything from
the warehousing to product
distribution.
“In both cases we are
providing what a client
needs, and what his business
merits,” said Zulberg. “Not
too much, or too little.”
Assessment programme ensures the right systems 'fit'
