More than $1 billion worth of projects are to be proposed to funders at this year’s Africa CEO Forum, which began yesterday in Kigali, Rwanda.
“Investment Dealrooms” – a new initiative on the forum’s part – will serve as a platform to connect potential investors with companies that seek capital growth.
Digital logistics company Kobo360 is a beneficiary, having secured financial backing for its growth plans. It will now expand its operations into Accra, Ghana and Nairobi, Kenya.
Kobo360 launched in 2016 in Togo and connects truckers and companies with freight needs. To date, it has serviced more than 1 450 businesses and aggregated a fleet of over 10 000 drivers and trucks.
The forum is set to conclude today.
