TAAG Angola Airlines has announced the gradual resumption of its international flight operations.
From early October, the carrier will resume flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Windhoek and Maputo.
Below is a summary of the new schedule from Luanda, with the start date:
- Johannesburg on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – October 5
- Cape Town on Thursdays and Sundays – October 14
- Maputo on Tuesdays and Saturdays – October 16
- Windhoek on Mondays and Thursdays – October 21
"There can be no doubt that the Covid-19 epidemic dealt the airline industry a heavy blow," said TAAG regional GM: southern Africa, Gregory Epps.
He added that several more flights would be progressively introduced, including services to Lagos, São Paulo and Lisbon.
