Monday (February 3) marked the official launch of the City of Johannesburg’s (COJ) 60-day pothole action plan. Johannesburg Mayor, Geoff Makhubo, said the campaign aimed to address the pothole repair backlog across the City of Johannesburg.
“We intend to make the roads in the city world-class roads. We are going to win this war against potholes and work together. From Midrand to Ivory Park, it will be clean. The whole landscape of Johannesburg will be clean,” said Makhubo.
COJ residents have been urged to report potholes to the Johannesburg Roads Agency.
