DURBAN CONTAINER operator, Rail Road Africa, has instituted legal action against Status Maritime for alleged debt of R2.5-million, according to management spokesman Gerald Naidoo.
To our knowledge they don't have the monies to pay what they owe us, he said.
And, with no guarantee forthcoming, RRA has attached a number of Status' boxes passing through its system, Naidoo added.
And, he said, if the agent can't pay,
then we also intend to take legal action against the line which they represented,
Kien Hung.
