United Airlines has named Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) as its Cape Town cargo handling provider effective next month (December).
The partnership will see WFS Cape Town take control of all local cargo handling operations for United Airlines for the next three years, said Malcolm Tonkin, cargo GM for WFS South Africa. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is scheduled to operate three non-stop flights between New York and South Africa each week.
