Minister of Transport, Dipuo Peters – supported by her counterpart in Botswana, Minister of Transport and Communications, Onkokame K Mokaila – officially opened the Swarkopfontein Bridge at the Swartkopfontein Border Post in North West Province yesterday (Monday)
The road and bridge construction cost R78.5 million and is expected to ease congestion at the border post.
Swarkopfontein Bridge was constructed by the agency of the Department of Transport, South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd (Sanral).
