Relief measure rules for Covid-19 pandemic

On 12 June the South African Revenue Service (Sars) announced the amendment of Rules 19A, 54AA, and 105 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964, which relate to the relief measures under the Act, 1964 to assist in alleviating the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Customs and Excise sphere. The Rule amendment is referenced as DAR197.
