According to Bloomberg, the AP Moller-Maersk group has said that it is exploring a major two-way split of its operating bodies into transport and energy companies.
Maersk Transport would incorporate Maersk Line and APM Terminals (APMT), while Maersk Energy would incorporate Maersk Oil and Maersk Drilling.
This will be one of several options on the agenda for the company’s structural review in September.
