On 03 February 2022, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) invited clearing agents, traders, Small Micro and Medium Enterprises (SMMEs), importers, exporters, partner stakeholders, members of the public and all role players who are involved in the value chain of cross-border trade facilitation, to join them in the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) Webinar.
The purpose of this webinar is to equip current and potential traders with knowledge on how to:
- Reduce the turnaround time spent on clearing goods at ports.
- Reduce costs that come with delays of cargo, improve daily cash flow, and minimise Customs intervention.
