The International Air Transport Association will host two interactive workshops on dangerous goods – one in Johannesburg on January 31 and a second in Cape Town on February 1 – which will include guest speakers from across the supply chain. Included in the line-up are two international Iata experts who will provide their insights on the essentials of shipping dangerous goods and lithium batteries by air.
The event will include an overview of the current regulatory framework, the changes that will come in 2018 and beyond, and how these regulations align to the Icao Technical Instructions.
The target audience is all stakeholders in the air cargo supply chain - particularly shippers, freight forwarders and airlines. Further information is available from Professional Aviation Services.
