On 17 March 2023, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty (provisional payment) on other flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, of a width of 600mm or more, otherwise plated or coated with zinc, of a thickness of less than 0.45mm, classifiable in tariff subheading 7210.49.10, originating in or imported from the People’s Republic of China.
The provisional payment of 35.90% is imposed from 17 March 2023 up to and including 16 September 2023.
