On 01 April the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced the imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties on pasta, classifiable in tariff subheadings 1901.11 and 1901.12, originating in or imported from Egypt, Latvia, Lithuania and Turkey. The provisional duties are imposed with effect from 01 April up to and including 16 September.
The reasoning is contained in the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) Report No.655.
The provisional anti-dumping duties, and the origin and country of origin are:
